OUR New minister
Hornchurch Baptist Church has appointed a new minister. As of January 2026, Revd. Dr. Ruth Conlon.
Ruth joins us following our pastoral vacancy that has run since Summer 2023.  We are looking forward to Ruth's guidance, vision and direction as we move into a new season for our Church. 

A MESSAGE FROM RUTH

Hello, and welcome to Hornchurch Baptist Church.

My name is Ruth, and I am the new Minister here. Whether you are visiting for the first time, returning after some time away, or looking for a church to call home, we are really glad you have found us.

​

Hornchurch Baptist is a community of people learning to follow Jesus in everyday life. We worship together, we grow in faith, we support one another, and we serve our local area with care and kindness. You do not need to have everything figured out to come along. If you are curious, searching, or simply in need of a place to belong, you are welcome here.

If you decide to join us on a Sunday, you can expect a friendly welcome, worship, prayer, and Bible teaching, with space to connect afterwards. I would love to meet you in person, and help you find your way into the life of the church, whether that is through a midweek group, a ministry team, or simply getting to know people over time.
